12.07.07    Last Minute Info
Remember to bring a consent form for each member of the team, and the Coach's Promise for every acive coach. Door will be open for team setup at ~8:30AM. Judging starts promptly at 9:30AM and will require a demonstration, so please make sure that either your robots are in working, presentable condition or that your team is rehearsed for their presentation.

NEW DIRECTIONS have been sent to all teams, so please refer to that word document. There is a limited time loading station for teams in front on Bancroft in front of the competition site. Affordable garage parking is available one block from the site on Durant (cross street: Telegraph).

11.30.07    IMPORTANT: Website Award Deadline and Research Project
WEBSITE AWARD: The deadline for Website Award submissions is Friday, December 7th at 12:00PM - NOON. Please send either the working URL or all HTML files to alyssaavestro@berkeley.edu. These websites will be judged Friday night and the winner announced on Saturday at the competition. In the mean time, please email whether or not your team plans to submit a website so we make sure to look out for your submission. Thanks!

RESEARCH PROJECT: Please email to the same email about ASAP to confirm whether or not your team is planning on doing the Research Project. We need this information to schedule the competition day accordingly. Thanks a lot, and Go Teams!

11.15.07    Room and Dates are Official!
Teams will be competing this year in the MLK Student Union Building located in Sproul Plaza of UC Berkeley. Qualifying rounds will be held in the Tilden Room on the top (5th) floor. The pit area will be located on the 3rd floor in the Kerr Room. Judging will take place in Stephens, adjacent to the pit area. More information regarding team schedules, matches, and locations will be provided at the tournament and in future email updates. Please email us if your team has not received a welcome email yet! =)

After six wonderful years at De Anza High School in Richmond, West County Robotics is proud to announce that the West Contra Costa FLL Regional Tournament is moving to its new home at UC Berkeley! Thank you to all teams and volunteers that have made this year's competition another amazing success! Congratulations to all of our winners and our advancing teams preparing to represent West County and the East Bay at the Northern California FLL State Tournament in January.
