Awards Overview and Criteria
This year the West Contra Costa FLL Qualifying Tournament will be giving
out awards in four areas:
Performance, Technical, Presentation, and Teamwork.
Below is an overview of each award and its scoring criteria. Point distribution
is to be used as a structural guideline for judges, but WILL NOT
be the decision-maker for the award itself. Judge observations
and comments will play a role (if not the largest role) in
who wins the award. Team impression counts!!
2007: 4 advancing slots.

The CHAMPION'S AWARD
is the most prestigious award that any team can win. Teams considered
for the Director's Award are those that perform well in technical
and team performance categories, as well as those who creatively
and enthusiastically embrace the wonders of science and technology.
Gracious Professionalism is key. The winning team receives the honor
of serving as a valued role model for FIRST and the FIRST LEGO League
Programs.
